How to Get Rid of Dark Circles Under Eyes for Men

Dark circles around the eyes and heavy bags under the bags can be really tricky to get rid of. All sorts of things have been found to work for different people, such as Vitamin E moisturisers, tea-bags, cucumber slices, and extra sleep to name a few. However when you’re in a rush to get somewhere, these remedies may not be too useful to know. In these cases, having some handy make-up solutions can be a great safety net.

• Dab some concealer onto your eye circle, and blend this using your ring or little finger. Make sure that the concealer you use is the same colour as the skin of the surrounding cheeks to ensure that it doesn’t stand out too much. Be gentle when blending the concealer as the skin of the eyes is particularly thin and delicate.

• Touching up the area after you have blended the concealer with powder is a great way to ensure the area is looking matt and fully blended.

• When applying concealer and powder, make sure that you do not apply too much in areas of fine lines. When you smile, the make-up will bunch up here, making these lines stand out more than they usually would do. Brush away any excess from these areas, and keep these applications to a minimum.

• As well as concealing the dark circles, it can also be worth playing up other areas of your face to act as a distraction from your circles. Try enhancing your cheekbones with blusher, or making the most of your lips with an eye catching lipstick. If you want to make the most of your eyes, keep the eye liner to the top lid and keep the rest of the eye shadow pretty simple. This way other people’s eyes won’t be drawn to the area of your dark circles.
