From Lacking To Lushious - What To Look For In A Lip Balm

They flake. They peel. They crack. They hurt. In addition, they are about as kissable as sandpaper. Nobody wants chapped lips. But cold, dry, or windy conditions or just some bad luck in the genes department can definitely dry out and roughen up that tender and sensitive section of your face. Hence, using lip balm regularly is the best way to keep lips moist and prevent chapped lips. All lip balms, no matter what their ingredients, are, basically, a way to replace or add to the normal, moisture-retaining barrier of the skin. Lip balms functions the same way as lip-gloss, though, the former is more of a treatment and the latter is more on its cosmetic purpose.

1. What Are Lip Balms?

Generally, lip balms are made from menthol, scented oils, beeswax, camphor, petroleum jelly, and other different components like alum, salicylic acid, and vitamins. When buying lip balms, there are certain factors that need to be considered. There are ingredients that when present in lip balms may induce greater result and long-lasting treatment.

2. Go natural

Basically, all lip balms are created for the same purpose and are definitely effective on their own ways. However, it is still important to choose lip balms that contain natural substances. This is to be sure that using lip balms will not irritate your chapped, dry lips.

3. Look for the super friendly oils.

When buying lip balm, it is best to buy those that contain vegetable oils like olive oil and almond oil. These particular types of vegetable oils are useful in bringing back the natural oils to the lips. Hence, you will have healthy-looking, clean, shiny lips.

4. Consider the kind of lip service you want from your lip balm.

Do you want to use it as an everyday alternative to lip-gloss? Are you looking for medical treatment with regards to your super dry, heavily chapped lips? Do you want to provide some sun-block protection to your lips? Or do you just want to have that super protection that you had been longing to have? Lip balm uses may vary from the everyday lip care to the super-protection lip balms.

5. Consider the kind of weather you have on your place.

How often should you use lip balm to prevent your lips from chapping? It depends on where you live and the time of the year. For example, if you live in Denver, the typical weather or climatic condition would be very dry and cold in the winter, and there is a lot of sun. Hence, it is important that you should use a lip balm on a daily basis, applying it a couple of times a day. If your neck of the woods is less dry, less cold, or less sunny, you may be able to use lip balm less frequently.

6. Choose a lip balm with sunscreen.

The lips take a solar beating just like the other areas of the face that are exposed to sunlight, but they typically do not get protection from sunscreen. That is why it experts strongly suggest using a lip balm with a sun-blocking ingredient. People, however, should be wary of using lip balms with sunscreen protection elements. Some people are sensitive to sunscreen, and their lips can become chapped because they are using it on their lips. Hence, if you notice any itching or redness, go back to a lip balm without the extra protection.

7. Observe the first batch of lip balms you have bought

It is really hard to distinguish the different ingredients in lip balms and its propensity to cure chapped lips. In fact, there are instances wherein some lip balms can even make the matter worst. And so, it is extremely important to note if a certain brand of lip balm can actually do more harm than good. If this is the case, then, it would be better to find another brand and look for the possible ingredient that could have caused the irritation. Indeed, it has been said before but it certainly bears repeating: The fastest way for a woman to update her look is by simply swiping a flattering shade of lipstick over her kisses. However, this is not possible if you have dry, chapped lips.

Silicone Breast Enhancer Implants Aren't Your Safest Breast Enlargement Choice

Silicone breast enhancer implants and other forms of cosmetic enhancement are a multi billion dollar a year business.

Today millions of women around the world undergo various forms of plastic and cosmetic surgery to improve their appearance and self-esteem.

While it has become an accepted part of society the fact remains that a lot of different types of cosmetic surgery have safety concerns and are far too expensive for most women.

As a good example, just take a look at the track record of enhancement procedures such as silicone breast enhancer implants and the outrageous breast implant prices women are faced with.

Proper eating and exercising habits have so many good benefits and can completely change your physical appearance. But unfortunately the only effect this has on a womans breasts is a reduction in breast size.

So the only option for a woman with small or un-shapely breasts is silicone breast enhancer implants, right?

Actually, due to amazing advances in the field of cosmetic enhancement you no longer have to pay high breast implant prices. There are much cheaper and much safer alternatives.

Right now however, let's take a look at cosmetic surgery and enhancement in general.

In addition to the fact that you may feel that your breasts may be too large or small, you also maybe carry around more body fat than you're comfortable with, show signs of aging on your face or have a nose that just isn't good enough.

Each year millions of men and women go on fad diets, change their hair colour, spend thousands of dollars on teeth whitening products, etc. In addition, billions are spent each year on skin & hair care products, hormone supplements, etc in the quest for a more youthful appearance.

For a lot of women there is a very negative view of cosmetic surgery such as breast implants, seeing them as frivolous, self-indulgent, vain and with good reason, unsafe.

While cosmetic surgery may be the only option when it comes to things such as wrinkles, dark spots and sagging jowls, it's not the only option when it comes to breasts. There have been many improvements in breast enhancement in the past few years that seem to work very well.

The stress people endure on a daily basis and significant changes in life will often motivate many to change their physical appearance in one way or another.

Examples of life changes that affect many people in this way can include a negative job situation, increased pressure not only to perform better but to look more polished and youthful.

Other life changes occur because of a relationship break-up.

Let's take a step back now and understand that no physical improvements alone will provide you with complete happiness, relieve stress at work or at home or fix a relationship.

But improvements in your physical appearance can psychologically change someone and restore energy and optimism in life.

One of the main problems a lot of women are faced with when it comes to breast enhancement is that they do not want to make the mistake of getting silicone breast enhancer implants that are too big or too small.

However, as mentioned earlier with new techniques there are options that can eliminate this problem of not getting the right size or shape that occurs with silicone breast enhancer implants.

You'll learn more about this later.

Another consideration when it comes to silicone breast enhancer implants is the possibility of a rupture at some later date.

If you do decide not to investigate the good available alternatives to high breast implant prices, make sure you choose your silicone breast enhancer implants wisely and consult with a qualified Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with extensive experience with silicone breast enhancer implants.

The doctor you find should explain the procedure involved with breast implants, answer all of you questions thoroughly and educate you on any possible dangers or problems that can be associated with silicone breast enhancer implants.

Do your research carefully, especially when it comes to silicone breast enhancer implants and high breast implant prices and discover what will work best for you. You do have options and the ability to make informed decision.

Keep in mind that cosmetic surgery is an elective procedure which has benefits in certain situations.

While the best options for improving your appearance are exercise and proper nutrition, cosmetic surgery and alternatives to silicone breast enhancer implants may also provide you results you just can't obtain from a healthy lifestyle.

Whatever your decision, try to have realistic expectations.

desalinate the freckles or black spot

lot's of girls feel sad because of her freckles on her face.but they don't know how to remove freckles they worry.in fact, girls should know that they can desalinate the black spot, the freckle continually by some ways.

Organic Skin Care Products

More women are in the market for organic skincare products. The trend toward organic is growing; Walmart has recently publicized its intention to increase its offering of organic food by 50%, and more people are extending their interest in organic products to organic skincare products in addition to food. After all, what you put on your body is just as essential as what you put into your body, since it is absorbed into the skin, and organic skincare products work effectively without all of the chemicals, which can cause health problems. Like all organic products, organic skincare products come from all natural products and contain no harmful chemicals.

Organic skin care products are held to the same standards as organic food products, and the US. Department of Agriculture has recently released guidelines concerning the labeling of organic products. If something is labeled 100% organic, it must contain all organic products. However, if a product is labeled as simply "organic" it can contain up to 5% of non-organic material. This small percentage is often not a huge concern for most consumers, but for very strict adherents to organic products, 5% can make a difference in whether they purchase the product or not. If the label says that the products is "made with organic ingredients" it must have at least 70% organic material in it. Depending on how adamant you are about purchasing organic skin products, you will want to inspect the label before buying. If you are shopping on the web, you can find out whether or not something is 100% organic by consulting the site or asking the webmaster.

All organic products, including organic skincare products are made from materials that are grown on soil that has been certified as pesticide-free for at least 3 years. Organic skincare products are made without:

· Synthetic pesticides · Insecticides · Herbicides · fungicides · hormones · chemical fertilizers

There has been some talk that the FDA is warning cosmetic companies to eliminate dangerous chemicals in their products, or their goods will carry labels, similar to the warning labels on cigarettes. Many dyes and other chemicals found in non-organic cosmetics and skincare products are hazardous and carcinogenic, and as one proponent of organic skincare products comments, "If you knew what was in your skin cream or foundation, you would never want to have it anywhere near your face!" A traditional skincare treatment program places about 100 chemicals on a woman's face, many of them hazardous. Organic skincare products can function the same way, but without the chemicals.

You can find organic skincare products which:

· exfoliate · cleanse · condition · nourish the skin · hydrate the skin · moisturize · purify the skin

Many organic skincare products are made from cold-pressed, unrefined oils, herb and flower extracts and from organic fruits, nuts and seeds. Peach pits can make an excellent exfoliating scrub to scour dead skin cells and renew one's complexion. Citrus fruits refresh and revive the skin, and mud masks purify the pores. A popular choice is a cleanser with orange peel oil, calendula and marshmallow. You can also find an exfoliant with bergmont and orange, or a conditioner made of hazel, burdock, plantain and vitamins. A rosewater spray hydrates skin that becomes dry from indoor heating in the winter and the sun in the summer.

Many women who use organic skincare products say that their skin feels even more fresh and pure after using organic products, and that they do not want to switch to their old non-organic brands. Another advantage to using organic skincare products is that, since they are made from plant oil, herbs, flowers and fruit, they often combine skincare with a pleasing fragrance. This means that you can combine skincare with aromatherapy. The orange and bergamont skin cleanser not only refreshes your skin but can lift your mood as well!

Breast Enhancement in an Hour

Feminism might be on the rise but you just cannot beat the fact that the obsession with an hourglass figure is equally pervasive in female minds. It is thus no wonder that more and more women are submitting themselves under the surgeon's scalpel and amongst the plethora of cosmetic cures, breast enhancement rules the roost. Breast enhancement involves the enlargement of the breast via surgery or various other non surgical modes.

The enhancement of the breast via surgery involves implanting saline, silicone gel or hydrogel either beneath the breast, or through the areola or axilla. The surgery is over within an hour and fifteen minutes and you can return home the same day.

Postoperative care is simple enough. You only need to take cold packs to lessen the swelling and if required, some drugs to abate the uneasiness. The scars lighten gradually and you can resume your normal routine within 3-4 weeks. Breast implants are safe for lactating mothers as well. However there have been cases of leakages, hardening of the breast, infection and loss of nipple sensation following breast implants.

Though not proven to cause breast cancer, surgical breast enhancement technique has its vehement protestors. Not wanting to go through the rigors of a surgery and desiring an alternative to the artificial look and feel of a breast implant, more and more women are turning towards non surgical breast enhancement methods like the pill, pump, cream or a special brassiere.

Amongst these, natural breast enhancement modes like the herbal pill are fast gaining appeal. The pill, should however be taken with extreme caution for the market and the Internet is flooded with cons which actually do more harm than good. After you spot the right pill, you need to follow certain lifestyle guidelines to ensure prompt results.

While you are on the pill, avoid caffeine and carbohydrates. A protein-rich diet is known to catalyze the effects of the breast enlargement pill. Do not go on a pill popping spree. Religiously adhere to the dosage prescribed by the medical practitioner. It is said that the pill in combination with a breast enhancement cream or gel always produces a synergistic effect.

Amongst the other non surgical breast augmentation modes, the pump has created quite a stir with some women claiming increase in their breast size by as much as two cups. The pump works by a suction method wherein the breast is pulled outwards. Regular use of the pump brings about cellular growth, thereby increasing the breast size.

Detractors however claim that the pump has only a temporary effect and is prone to cause damage to the soft breast tissue.

The non surgical methods of breast enlargement are safer and convenient than surgery. However, you need to guard against fakes and tall claims of the manufacturers. It is best to research thoroughly, consult the physician before embarking on a breast enhancement regime. The proper procedure will have the gawky plain Jane blossom out into a woman of rare appeal and beauty.

how to remove Genetic freckle

Genetic freckle
I am now 22 years old, compared black skin, tanning is very easy, just to see the sun, the skin will grow on the spot. I freckle in the position on the bridge of the nose and cheekbone, the number will be more. I was my mother's genetic, but she has now faded, but I think as long as 40 teenagers have to be watered down, I felt afraid. I often query the Internet, are the basic points, or laser spot, for those I do not dare to try. Treatment time not too long, if not rebound effectively, if only just talk. Had hoped that the success of a genetic freckle friends to help me
Best not to try, I also inherited, and you can pay attention to the peace in the skin care, Kurashiki milk mask, wash your face, such as water and white vinegar in a simple and effective way. Guizaijianchi these methods are not eager to bear fruit. I also tried Danban beauty, there are drugs, useless, experts say not to, you can put some skin maintenance Bainen, on cosmetics to cover up, I have to give up all the way Danban only persist in White, I wish you more and more beautiful

Beautiful Skin without Cosmetic Surgery

Skin care is basic to extend the healthy beauty of your face that is your presentation card, the first thing that most people notice when they first meet you. Preventing dehydration and other factors, which are directly responsible for skin aging all over your body should be a must, but particularly important when it comes to talking about facial skin care.

Actually, there are a number of products intended to keep optimal skin conditions, reverse age-related marks, or regain the youthfulness that has gone, such as spider vein cream, or cream for stretch marks, which are at the same time a natural beauty lift, but without cosmetic surgery. The sooner you start a preventive anti-aging treatment, the easier your skin will respond in a positive manner.

Along with beauty products especially designed to achieve radiant, healthy skin, there are a few almost cost-free techniques, which are priceless, starting from a cleansing routine performed at least twice a day, using a mild, natural, soap or inexpensive cleanser designed for your skin type. If your skin is dry, avoid the soap and clean only once.

Make your skin care program a relaxation time. Add a few drops of essential oil to your cleanser to boost its cleaning effect adding the aromatic quality of jasmine, spearmint, orange or rose, among many other essential oils you can get from your health store or over the counter pharmacy.

As part of your skin care always wear a sunscreen and lip-screen with at least SPF 15, containing UVA and UVB protection, to avoid the novice ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sunlight, and making sure to reapply it when your activities demand a prolonged stay outdoors.

Apart from applying to your face a cream for stretch marks, exercising is another useful aid to keeping healthy skin, because exercise oxygenates your cells facilitating waste removal through your skin. Whether, you are fitness devoted or a woman who does not like the idea of exercising, or does not have enough time for sophisticated routines, just by walking, biking or jogging you are helping with your skin care.

You can improve not only your skins appearance, but also manage your weight effectively, increase your energy and enhance cardiovascular fitness and muscular endurance. Additionally, drink plenty of water, because it keeps your skin hydrated, moisturized, and impurities free. As the final step of your daily skin maintenance routine, sleep well and never go to bed with makeup on, because the skin needs to breathe by night.

Following these easy steps, your chances to undergo cosmetic surgery are minimal, particularly if you reduce or eliminate the consumption of alcohol, drugs, chemicals, and heavy metals that damage your skin. Complement your skin caring routine with creams such as spider vein cream, especially designed to prevent aging effects and other internal and external natural products that improve your overall health, which at the end translates into beautiful skin.

Breast Augmentation - Why Women Do It

Breast augmentation. In a society where men are obsessed with the size of a woman's breasts it is no wonder that more and more women are having theirs enlarged. But being more attractive to a man is not the only reason women have their breasts enlarged. In this article we are going to discuss some of the psychological and not so psychological reasons that women get their breasts enlarged.

Let's start with the obvious. A woman with small breasts will typically feel less attractive to a man, especially when she is surrounded by other women who are more endowed than she is. Not so much because of the women themselves, though they can be a bit obvious in their actions, but more because of the actions of the men around them. You don't have to be a brain surgeon to see that most men will pay infinitely more attention to a woman with larger breasts than a woman with smaller breasts, or worse, hardly any at all. This woman feels so low about herself because of this, that ultimatel,y in spite of all the dangers, health risks, possible reactions and everything else involved, she will have her breasts enlarged. The ends justifies the means, no matter what the risk.

Then there is the woman who has her breasts enlarged for a completely different reason. This is the woman who feels she will get ahead faster in the business world if she has larger breasts. Take a look at many of your young movie starlets. It's hard to find a one of them who isn't well endowed. Certainly not all of them were naturally born like that. The truth is, and nobody tries to hide this fact, most women in Hollywood have some kind of cosmetic surgery, with breast augmentation being right up at the top of the list. In today's society it is almost expected.

But Hollywood isn't where it ends. Other women climbing up the corporate ladder also have breast augmentation done. Their thinking is that if they look like more of the stereotypical beautiful woman they will get farther in their professional lives. This stereotype isn't helped out much by Hollywood who portrays the successful businesswoman in films in this manner. The main point here is that a woman applying for an important executive position feels, especially when being interviewed by a man, that if she is more physically attractive to her interviewer that she will have a better chance of getting the job. The sad thing is, she probably will have a better chance. It may not be fair but it's the way things are.

And then there is the woman who just wants to feel better about herself. Maybe she's recently divorced or has had some other kind of setback. Maybe she just wants to do something that will make her feel more like a woman. Breast augmentation is one of the first things she will think of if she's not naturally endowed, especially if she decides she wants to get back out into society. Why not do it with a new body?

There are other reason women have cosmetic surgery of this kind. In some circumstances, say if you want to work at Hooters, you have no choice but to get your breasts enlarged if you want to get the job. That's just the way things are.

In the next article we're going to discuss the various methods of breast augmentation.

Genetic freckle

Genetic boys freckle-General will stop to teenage »
Last year, a week I get up early every day to run, in that week freckle a lot more than before, but it did not stop running long, after a fierce campaign that, like freckles, president of all that, does know why?
Freckle is a very common form of skin diseases, good in the face, often symmetrical distribution, and the back of the neck may also occur occasionally. The disease started in childhood morbidity, and increased with age increase in the number of colors deepened. And more generally in adolescence or increase the show, not the pain does not itch, it affected the aesthetic appearance. Therefore, many people want to know what is a freckle, and whether hereditary, and how treatment, and other issues.
Freckle not yet fully understand the cause is generally believed that there are genetic in nature, as autosomal dominant inheritance, a family, if one parent has freckles, then their children in about half the chance of freckles and sometimes can see from top to bottom Two generations of people in the same position in freckle

How Solving My Skincare Problems Changed My Life

In my mid-thirties it looked like I had it made - to everyone but me that is! When I looked in the mirror, a woman in her forties looked back at me. I read about celebrities getting "microdermabrasion" instead of plastic surgery so I tried it. The doctor explained that his $20,000 microdermabrasion machine "abrades" the skin with special medical-grade crystals, removing a layer of dead, damaged cells and stimulating the growth of new skin. It worked! Wrinkles faded. Those fine lines around my mouth almost disappeared. Best of all, it made a huge improvement with my acne scars. I looked 10 years younger. It was well worth the $125 each of my six treatments treatment cost!

Then, just as I was beginning to enjoy looking younger, I lost my job. Suddenly, I couldn't afford the dermatologist. I panicked when I looked in the mirror! I had interviews and needed to look my best, but how could I afford it? I became self-conscious. I didn't date. I avoided friends. And I bought just about every anti-aging product on TV. Some didn't do a thing. Some helped superficially but didn't last. Some called themselves microdermabrasion, but didn't work like the real thing. Nothing came close to the treatments I could no longer afford.

One morning, while putting on my makeup, I suddenly wondered if microdermabrasion crystals could be bonded to a cosmetic sponge that I could apply myself - just like the makeup! I called a friend in the cosmetics business who thought it was a great idea. Before long I had a team of skin care professionals and we developed a new microdermabrasion process based on my crystal-bonded sponges. I couldn't wait to try our prototypes. When I did, my skin felt like it did after my doctor's microdermabrasion treatments, with that mild sunburn-like effect which only happens after real microdermabrasion! My doctor said that means a treatment is working - removing a layer of dead, damaged skin cells.

Soon, my skin looked and felt great! My wrinkles were clearly diminished and even my acne scars looked smoother. Each time I used the product my skin looked better. It really was comparable to a doctor's microdermabrasion treatments! I started my own company so I could bring affordable microdermabrasion directly to as many people as possible for a fraction of the price of professional treatments. You can't imagine how satisfying it is - I'm not only looking ten years younger myself, but I'm helping others do the same.

Breast Implant Surgery for Beauty Elevation

Breast implant surgery has been embraced by millions of women around the globe, despite the medical and social controversies surrounding the procedure. Women's' breasts since time immemorial have been eye candy for men and a source of pride for women. No wonder, it has also been the inspiration for much beauty in literature.

Breast enhancement is the buzzword of the cosmetic plastic surgery industry and breast implants have been heralded and desired by women of every shape, size, and financial background. Also called mammoplasty, a breast implant procedure increases the volume of the breast(s) by the placement of an implant within the chest, behind each breast. Changes as a result of weight loss, childbirth, and aging can lead a woman to the decision to undergo a breast implant procedure. And although the safety of the breast implants has been questioned in the past, recent research has concluded that saline breast implants are safe to use and to receive.

What is Breast Implant Surgery? Breast implants surgery is the planting of prosthesis to enhance the size and shape of a woman's breasts or to reconstruct the breast. Of the four types of breast implants, saline (salt water) filled implants are now the most popular, and regarded as the safest, in cosmetic surgery circles. Breast Implants Surgery - Before the Implants In the initial consultation, the physician will be looking to determine whether a patient is the best candidate for the breast implant procedure. An extensive medical history will be taken, as well as medical tests to determine the patient's current health status. Before the breast implant surgery, the surgeon must have a comprehensive overview of the patient's health - so it is necessary that any problems, or medications, or recreational drug use be disclosed at this appointment. Some patients' history may preclude them from undergoing the breast implants procedure, or at least need to be scheduled at a later date when health issues and habits have been resolved.

Breast Implants Surgery - Who are they for? The best candidate for breast implants is a woman that has completed the growth process--usually the age of 18 is determined to be the cutoff age. And women who are not pregnant or breastfeeding are also good candidates for breast implants. Patients should also be in good health and not planning significant weight loss. Any of these factors can change the intended results of the breast implants. Breast Implants Surgery - The Procedure The breast implants procedure is usually done under general anesthesia, or when the patient is 'asleep'. The implant is inserted through a small incision, with hardly any scar that can be noticed. Sometimes the incision for the breast implants is underneath the breast, or it may be within the lower edge of the areola, or it may be in the armpit area so as to avoid any scars in the breast region. After the incision is made, the surgeon opens a pocket under the natural breast where the breast implant will be placed. Once the implant is in place, then the incision is closed and the next breast is done, if necessary. Breast Implants Surgery - Risks and Complications Breast implants have always been frowned upon by medical professionals and moral police. But there are real risks associated with breast implants. The most recent controversy is that of implants filled with a silicone gel, so many physicians are using implants that are filled with a saline solution instead. In the rare occurrence the implant is punctured and the contents are released, the saline solution is reabsorbed by the body without adverse effects. With silicone implants, some patients have reported disastrous effects from the breakage of the silicone filled breast implants. It seems that the silicone can induce the body's immune system to respond and it can cause a type of chronic autoimmune disease in some.

Other possible complications include the same as with any surgery: reactions from the anesthesia during the receiving of the breast implants, infection, slippage of the implant, and patient dissatisfaction with the results.

Natural Skin Care Products - Finding the Right Natural Products for Your Skin Type

Natural skin care is a must for some of us who consider a product safer and healthier for the skin when it is made up of natural ingredients. But different skin types are sensitive to different products - even natural products.
For example a person with oily/acne prone skin has to be very careful of what kind of moisturizer they apply to their face. Alternately a person with dry/sensitive or delicate skin has to be careful also. So how can one tell, especially if purchasing a product online, if that product is right for their skin type?
Here\'s a few things you can do to help you find out if a natural skin care product is right for you:
1. Find out if the active ingredients within the product is natural. This is an important first step, the closer to nature an active ingredient is, generally it is safer for the skin. Using a product with un-natural or drug derived ingredients, and a few natural ingredients thrown in for good measure is not actually a natural product. So find out if the active ingredients is derived from nature.
2. Read the testimonials. reading testimonials for a product carefully, and thoroughly will help you to understand how the product has helped other people. As you study the testimonials for a product note carefully if the majority of satisfied users have the same skin type or conditions as you do and what their response was to using the product.
Picture testimonials (before and after) are another way to help you see HOW the product really helped the person, if there was a noticeable difference and enough testimonials the product is more than likely worth trying.
3. Ask. This one sounds very obvious, but if you really want to know if a product should not be used by a person with your skin type, and you cannot answer that question from the information on the product website then don\'t hesitate to contact the webmaster and explain what type of skin you have, explain your concern and ask if the product is safe for you to use.
4. Be sure there is a Guarantee! This one also sounds obvious, but if you\'re going to test a product that you\'ve never tried before then you want to make sure the company or website that offers it can guarantee your satisfaction before purchase.
If your skin is sensitive to the product after you test it then by all means return the product for a refund. Shop around, take the time to find out if a product is right for you before you buy.

What Do You Expect From A Breast Surgery?

The breast is a vital part of the female body; it's shape, size and perception affects the self-esteem and confidence of a woman. This perhaps is the reason for the surge in the number of women going for breast enlargement surgery, clinically known as Augmentation Mamoplasty, in recent times. Records have it that breast enlargement surgery is the third commonest type of cosmetic surgery performed in the United States and the number of women undergoing breast augmentation has increased over twenty percent in the last couple of years.

Despite the apparent risk involved with breast enlargement and the obvious adverse effects, the number of people undergoing this surgery has always been on the rise. Breast enlargement surgery could cause breast pain, breast hardness or numbness in the nipples that won't go away for months or in some cases, years. It could cause infections that would warrant the removal of the implant, until the infection is cleared. The implant could leak or rupture, wrinkle or change in shape resulting in more surgery to correct or remove the faulty implant. It is even said that the presence of implant in a breast makes it technically difficult to detect cancerous growth in the breast with a mammogram. Yet all these reasons haven't caused women to reconsider their quest for a better breast through surgery. One therefore wonders what these women expect to get from breast enlargement surgery.

Modern society places so much emphasis on body shapes, curves and looks and this seem to be the driving factor in most cosmetic surgery. Most women want to look like the women they see in movies or magazines. We all have an idea of what an ideal body should look like, but in most cases, these imaginings can never be transferred to reality, no matter how hard we manoeuvre, adapt or change the natural body shape, there is a limit to what can be achieved with cosmetics.

With breast enlargement surgery, for instance, it is important to state here that the results that you get after surgery may not necessarily correspond to what you have in mind as the ideal breast shape. The procedure will definitely improve breast shape, size, look and perhaps, firmness. But it is better to have a realistic expectation from the procedure. The outcome of breast enlargement surgery depends on so many individual factors, hence the difference in the results you get, meaning that you are not very likely to come out looking like your ideal Hollywood figure. The more realistic your expectations, the more fulfilled you will be after the procedure.

The outcome of a breast enlargement surgery would depend on factors like health, the structure of your chest, shape of your body, the type of surgical procedure and the size of implant. Prior experience with breast surgery and the skill and experience of the surgical team would also play a role in the end result.

The bottom line is that, though most women find their self esteem, courage, confidence and social acceptance after a breast enlargement procedure, you are more likely to be better off after the surgery if you expect less from the procedure. There is nothing as heart breaking as spending a few grand of your hard earned money only to discover that you didn't really get what you expected. If breast surgery is what you want, then go for it, but be reasonable in what you expect from it.

Healthy Skin Care Products and Tips

Organic skin care is one of the fastest growing areas of the beauty industry. It's estimated that by using a range of body and skin care products, the average woman applies more than 200 chemicals to her skin a day. Because it is the one layer of our bodies that people see, having healthy skin is very important. Many people turn to skin care products in order to have healthy and youthful looking skin. There has been recent research that has found that the skin reacts positively various vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Here are a few nutrients that are beneficial in skin care products

Silica is a trace mineral that will make the connective tissues, such as muscles, tendons, hair, and nails, stronger. It is important for healthy skin. If there is Silica deficiency in the body, the wounds of the skin will not heal as quickly. Silica is an ingredient in many good skin care products.

Zinc is a mineral, and one of the most important components of skin that is healthy. Acne may be a result of a zinc deficiency in the body. Zinc also controls the skins production of oil and can control hormones that bring about acne. Many health care products contain zinc, as it is very beneficial to the health of the skin.

Selenium - Selenium can be an important ingredient in skin care products as this antioxidant mineral makes the skin have more elasticity. Selenium will also help prevent skin cell damage with free radicals. Selenium can prevent skin cancer because it protects the skin from the damaging effects of ultraviolet light.

Vitamin C is the only antioxidant that is proven to stimulate the synthesis of collagen, which is essential since your body's natural collagen production decreases as you age. Collagen is considered a person's fountain of youth; it's responsible for warding off wrinkles and fine lines. Studies have shown that vitamin C helps to minimize fine lines, scars and wrinkles.

Vitamin E is another an antioxidant that helps protect the skin form the sun's damaging ultra violet rays. A combination of Vitamin E and Vitamin A skin care products are very good at preventing various types of skin cancer. Vitamin E also helps with wrinkles and other signs of premature aging in the skin.

The promotion of skin repair and maintenance is how Vitamin A can help your skin. If you have a dry or flaky complexion you should look for skin care products that have Vitamin A as it can help with these skin problems. Vitamin A also helps reduce acne and other skin problems.

Kojic acid is a more recent remedy for the treatment of pigment problems and age spots. Discovered in 1989, kojic acid has a similar effect as hydroquinone. Kojic acid is derived from a fungus, and studies have shown that it is effective as a lightening agent, inhibiting production of melanin (brown pigment).

Cosmetic products require preservatives or bactericides to prevent them from being contaminated. Some of the most allergenic and irritating preservatives release small amounts of formaldehyde, which is an irritant as well as a carcinogen and neurotoxin.

Many skin care products, both natural and from mainstream companies, contain either diethanolamine or triethanolamine (wetting agents), abbreviated on labels as DEA and TEA, and sometimes shown bound to other compounds as in cocamide DEA, TEA or sodium lauryl sulfate. Neither DEA or TEA is carcinogenic. However, if products contain nitrites - often present as contaminants and not disclosed on cosmetic labels -, their presence in cosmetics can cause a chemical reaction - leading to the formation of nitrosamines - most nitrosamines are carcinogenic.

Valuable Skin Care Tips

This list is provided by a Licensed Skin Specialist in an effort to assist consumers with common skin concerns today. This article is based on the most common questions & concerns of our skin care customers to date.
1. The use of a Daily Sunscreen offering both UVA & UVB protection is essential. Cumulative sun damage is a leading cause of premature aging. Research has also found sun damage to contribute to Rosacea, melanoma and more. Anti oxidants within your sunscreen may further protect your skin by offering free radical protection. We recommend a minimum SPF rating of 30. UVA rays which lead to skin cancer and wrinkles can penetrate the windshield of your car and light clothing. Be sure to use sunscreen year round!
2. Look for our professionals favorite ingredients in your products such as\" Hyaluronic Acid \"which holds up to 1000 times it\'s own weight in moisture. This valuable skin care ingredient plumps the skin and maintains moisture balance. Our bodies produce Hyaluronic Acid naturally but it is depleted as we age, so it is an essential component to your daily regimen. (Most of the Jan Marini product line contain this ingredient) Peptides are also the latest technology for plumping fine lines and wrinkles and are considered by some as \"non injectable botox\", make sure to consider these ingredients for anti-aging benefits.
3. Rosacea is considered by some a disease of vasomotor instability. It has been associated with cumulative sun damage and more common in fair skinned patients. There is no cure for the disease and is often associated with a red flushing of the skin, broken capillaries and acne in some cases. Recommended preventative measures include the use of daily sunscreen and non sensitizing skin care products. Also recommended: avoid saunas, hot spicy foods, extremely hot water on the face, alcohol (wine etc) and sun exposure can increase redness and exacerbate this skin condition. We have products today fortunately to assist in treating this skin condition.
4. Hyperpigmentation, (also referred to as age spots, melasma or pregnancy mask) is often the result of sun damage, hormonal changes or trauma to the skin. Effective products may contain combinations of kojic acid (licorice extract), glycolic acid, hydroquinone and azaleic acid which all have the ability to lighten discoloration. However, if you are not protecting your skin with...you guessed it, sunscreen.... chances are the discoloration will resurface. We love the bioglycolic lightening gel for our patients!
5. Acne is a disease that may be treated successfully with the use of products containing glycolic, salicylic acids & benzoyl peroxide. For resistant conditions prescription medication may be recommended. Please be advised to see a physician if you cannot treat your symptoms with over the counter products. Adult acne may be associated with Rosacea so sun protection and specialty products are essential in this case.
6. Professional Skin Treatments like microdermabrasion, lasers & or facials \"may\" exacerbate certain skin conditions if not administered by very experienced technicians. Much of what you do on a daily basis at home is going to contribute to your skins ultimate overall beauty. Please use caution in selecting treatments. Many \"feel\" good but may not be best for you.
7. What should your regimen consist of? A quality Cleanser, Exfoliant, Treatment product (acne/anti-aging), Eye Cream, Moisturizer & Daily Sun Protection should be applied in above order. Masks are optional. These products should be part of your daily regimen. (Sunscreen daytime only).
8. Eye creams should be applied with a dabbing motion around the orbital bone working inwards toward the bridge of your nose. This is the thinnest skin on the entire body & quite delicate. Use caution not to pull/stretch the area which may result in sagging or loose skin. Keep this in mind when removing eye makeup as well. Why do I need Eye Cream? Eye creams are specially formulated for this thinner, more sensitive area. They may also contain additional ingredients to address dark circles, crows feet, sagging lids etc. In addition, eye creams are quite often ophthalmologist tested for eye safety.
9. The neck and dcollet areas should not be neglected. These areas are vulnerable to aging/sagging as well. Often the dcollet (chest) area will reveal sun damage (age spots) as we age. Ease into your products slowly if you have not used products in this area previously. Start every other day or every 3rd until your skin is accustomed to the new ingredients. Apply your moisturizers to these areas daily.
10. Your hands tell all!. Regular exfoliation and hydration is essential to maintain the health and beauty of the hands. Our hand creams contain the essential ingredients for anti aging as well. Remember, your face may not reveal your age but in some cases the hands may! Use of glycolic acid to exfoliate and lightening gels for age spots may be just what you need to compliment your overall appearance. Jan Marini Age Intervention Hand cream is a favorite of ours!
11. Glycolic Acid is highly beneficial when incorporated for most skin concerns unless highly sensitive. Especially Anti Aging. As we age skin cells do not turn over as rapidly often resulting in a more sluggish appearance with little or no \"glow\"::. Of the Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Glycolic (derived from sugar cane) has the smallest molecular structure and can dissolve and turnover newer healthier cells for a healthy glow and minimize fine lines, age spots, scars & more! This highly effective ingredient has been know to stimulate collagen & elastic production for anti aging benefits! Also great for acne!
12. As we age, as a result of hormonal level changes our skin may become more dehydrated and lack luster, but our hair and eyebrows and eyelashes may also experience thinning & sparse areas. Rest assured we have products today to address all of these concerns!. Thicker, more lustrous hair can be yours with the latest technology. Our specialists have tried the leading eyelash conditioners and eyelash products & we offer what we found to be most effective, hundreds of satisfied customers to date! Now gorgeous eyelashes can belong to everyone with either of our favorites, Revitalash, MD Lash Factor or Jan Marini Age Intervention Eyelash Conditioner. We have seen amazing results with these products and offer a comparison for those interested.

Antiaging Skin Care

The foundation of antiaging skin care is to protect your skin from damage as the years go by, specifically to protect it from exposure to the sun. This is very difficult for several reasons: most of us have a lot of exposure to the sun when we are small children and, in Western culture, it is both fashionable to have a suntan and a popular form of recreation to lounge in the sun on a summer day.
It’s a strange contradiction that we tend to spend a lot of time in the sun, causing premature damage to the skin, and then go to great lengths to obtain antiaging skin care treatment to reverse the damage done. By the time we are adults, we have already sustained a lot of damage to the skin, even though we are not seeing it yet. Sun damage is cumulative over the years, and doesn’t show up until later in life. Antiaging skin care, then, should start when we are very young - skin should be protected with sunscreens and sun blocks whenever we are out in the sun.
Sunlight contains various wavelengths of light ranging from infrared through visible light and into the ultraviolet range. It is the ultraviolet rays of the sun that do the majority of damage to the skin. Ultraviolet sunlight is typically dived into UV-A and UV-B rays. UV-A penetrates to deeper layers of skin and stimulates tanning, but does not burn the skin as readily, while UV-B has more superficial penetration but causes more sunburn. Both types have been implicated in cell damage and malignancies of the skin, therefore exposure to both the sun and to the UV light in tanning beds will require some level of antiaging skin care treatment.
Skin tone is created by the pigment melanin, produced by cells deep in the skin. Melanin actually protects the skin from sun damage like a naturally produced sunscreen and this is why the skin produces more melanin, turning brown, in response to exposure to sunlight. Some people have more natural melanin in the skin than others, resulting in darker skin, and these people, not surprisingly, appear to have a lower incidence of skin cancers than light skinned people. It’s not good logic however, to tan in order to produce more melanin and protect your skin from sunlight - while you are acquiring that tan, the UV rays are doing damage to your skin cells. An antiaging skin care treatment that protects your skin from sun damage is a much better approach.
In today’s world of increased life spans and abundant leisure time, it’s hard to achieve a balance between perfecting a healthy lifestyle, following the fashion trends and enjoying the pleasures of outdoor life: there’s a trade-off to be made between having that glowing tan and having younger looking skin. Hard as it is to accept, the best antiaging skin care treatment is to stay out of the sun. Period.
