Sun Burns

Sunburns are burns to living tissue such as skin produced by overexposure to harmful ultraviolet rays that comes from sun. Almost everyone has been sunburned or will become sunburned at some time.
Symptoms and Causes:
Reddish skin
Skin hot to touch
General fatigue
Mild dizziness
Improper tanning bed use is also a source of sunburn.
How to Cure:
To go out in direct sun is very risky but you can prevent yourself with some of the effective following options.
You can use sunscreen and reduce the risk of sunburns.
You can include extra clothing such as hat and gloves as they help in protecting from harmful sunrays.
Moderate sun tanning without sun burning can also prevent sun as it increases the amount of melanin that is a skin photoprotectant pigment that is skin’s natural protector against the harmful rays.
Whether sunscreen prevents or promotes the development of melanoma depends on the relative importance of the protective effect from the topical sunscreen and the harmful effects of the absorbed sunscreen.
Use cool clothes at the sun affected areas.
Avoid taking sunbaths when sun is on its worst.
You can use an umbrella before going under sun.
Reasons to happen: Everyone knows that it’s best to practice sunburn prevention before you head outdoors, but stuff happens.
Your kids convince you to hang out at the playground longer than planned.
The baseball game goes into extra innings and your sunscreen wears off.
You fall asleep by the pool.
If you travel to the southern United States, regions close to the equator or places at high altitudes all offer the unwary visitor an opportunity to be injured by sunburn.
