According to scientific studies, melatonin has the magic effect of eliminating black spots. After melatonin is absorbed and enters into the blood circulation, it will play its intrinsic function and bring the cosmetic effect. There are a variety of foods containing melatonin, such as oat, corn, ginger, cucumber, banana, eggplant and so on.

In addition to melatonin, which is effective for skin beauty and skin care, there are also a lot of other vitamins which have their specific effects. For example, vitamin A and vitamin E can prevent the aging of nerve cells, destroy the activity of free radicals, promote blood circulation, regulate the secretion of hormone, inhibit the aging process and paleness of the skin, and make your skin white, smooth and delicate. Vitamin C is an anti-oxidant, which can inhibit oxidation, prevent the deposition of pigmentation. Vitamin B6 has the function of eliminating melanin and black spots. There are a variety of foods which are rich in vitamin B6, including chicken, lean pork, egg yolk, fish, shrimp, peanut, soybean and its products.

Fruits are helpful to the beauty of our skin. When people reach 25 to 30 years old, the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) in human body will decrease, while the amount of reactive oxygen species will increase. It will not only destroy the collagen fibers in the skin, resulting in the formation of wrinkles, but also will cause damage to hyaluronidase-the moisturizing factor in the skin, making the skin rough and chapped, and the brown spots will appear.

If you can make adaptation with reasonable diet, and often take in sufficient carotene from some fruits rich in pectin, then the amount of SOD will increase in the body. And the wrinkles, dark spots, pigmentation will delay or do not appear any more on your skin. For the pregnant women, if they want to prevent the black spots, they can eat more foods containing plenty of trace elements such asselenium, magnesium. Foods which contain high content of selenium include black sesame, barley, shrimp, animal kidney, liver and so on. Magnesium mainly comes from some plant food such as colored vegetables, which containing plenty of chlorophyll. What's more, other foods such as millet, barley, wheat, oats, beans, nuts, seafood are also a good source of magnesium. In addition, drinking some green tea every day can also play good cosmetic effect.
